• Do not use devices such as fireworks or explosive material such as firecrackers, bangers, rockets, etc.
• In the execution of works or civil engineering work or any other type that may involve risk of causing forest fires (utilization of welders, brush-cutters, circular saws, generators, etc), company representatives and workers should comply strictly with safety standards for the prevention of forest fires in the execution of works and jobs being carried out on forest land or in the immediate area (Decree 7 / 2003 of January 23, the Consell de la Generalitat).
• If you detect a fire first of all you can try to smother it by pouring water or dirt on the heart of the flames or beating it with a live tree branch. If you spend more than a minute without managing to suppress it, it must be reported immediately ringing theValencian Emergency telephone number ‘112’ or reporting it to the nearest authorities.
• In case of fire, always follow the directions given by staff who have been assigned the tasks of monitoring and extinguishing.
Remember, you can ask to speak in English, if you need to ring the dedicated emergency telephone number '112'.
